SALLY + ASH
Lindenderry at Red Hill
“Towards the end of the night I remembered a bit of advice that was given to us, and now we understand it had incredible meaning. We were told to take a secret moment of the evening, to sneak out together and take in being husband and wife. Standing outside together, looking at the guests having a wonderful time inside, gave us time to reflect on the excitement of the day, take in all the hard work leading up to this day and be loving towards each other. It is a moment I will never forget.”
Sally and Ash were married on the anniversary of the first day they had met. They’d been on a camping trip in Torquay with mutual friends, and sparks had flown between them from the very first moment. Things came full circle as they read vows to each other from beautiful handmade books, created with stylists Fox & Mae. The ceremony and reception both had that same intimate, close-knit feel: “We decided on circle-style ceremony seating because we felt it was important for all of our nearest and dearest to be surrounding us as we made the promise of a lifetime,” says Sally.
